Waithaka Wa Jane Biography

Waithaka was a Mugithi Artist in Kenya. He was born in a Christian Akorino family where his father was a pastor. Being the last born in a family of eight, his mother took care of him in the best way possible. Unfortunately, at a young age, his father died and so he was left with his mother. Luckily his mother worked hard to raise him. Even though there were difficulties in life her mother made sure he never lacked anything.

During an interview on a YouTube Channel, he stated that he misses his father because he never experienced his father’s love. Due to the love he had for his father he decided to do a song as a dedication. “I pray that my kids never lose their father too. I want them to experience their father’s love, touch, comfort, affection, advice and teachings.” He says. Waithaka is married and he is blessed with three children.

Fortunately, he came to the limelight during the Corona Pandemic when one of his friends invited him to a club to play the drum set. However, his work was loved and appreciated by many. Later Joy wa Macharia of Coro FM invited him to the studio and many people liked his way of singing. Later Joy requested Nyoks wa Katta to also host him at Inooro FM. Waithaka is now loved by many. He also produces his music and is ready to face the Mugithi World. He also hopes that one day he will assist other upcoming artists like him.
